| When pitching, move your pitching cursor out of hitting cursor. Then, hold the z button and press any one of the C buttons to look at the base. Before you let go of the C button, release the Z button. By returning to the batting screen you'll find no cursors. You can pitch as usual but the computer will not be able to hit the ball. (Make sure the hitting cursor is outside the pitching cursor.) |

| To steal bases more easily press the lead off button three times. Then wait until the pitcher winds up, as soon as he does, press the lead off button one more time to steal the base. Doing this with a player of adequate speed will allow you get such a jump that the catcher won't even attempt to throw you out. |

| Choose to play an exibition game and then choose the teams. (The home team will be the one that wins the series.) When you come to pick ballpark screen, simaltaneously press all four C-buttons together until a chime is heard. Press Z and sit back and watch the celebration. |

| When an opponent hits a popfly to the outfield, don't catch it, instead, pick it up, hold Z, and press C-up to run it in. Then press the following C buttons to throw to bases: RIGHT, UP, LEFT, DOWN, LEFT, UP, DOWN, RIGHT, UP, LEFT, DOWN. If done correctly the crowd will boo. On the next hit, don't get the ball, just repeatedly hit A or B and your player will fly. |

When Griffey is batting and he says "I'm Back", wait for a good pitch. If one is up in the strike zone and you hit it well, he will hit a home run almost every time. Be sure to not swing at a bad pitch if you hear him say this.

| Place the crosshair anywhere in the strikezone except inside the yellow hitting circle. Hold the crosshair where you want it to be, and press Z and then press Left-C, Right-C, or Up-C to look at one of the bases. Release the Z button first, then release the C-Button; bringing you back to looking at the batter. There should now be no crosshair or hitting circle. Now throw whatever pitch you want and the computer will swing and miss or watch it go by for a strike. |
